First meeting!

National Veterinary Technician Week pins handed out (produced by NAVTA)

to be funded by LTC, and completed by Wednesday, 08/17/05 in time for our AVMA 
accreditation/inspection

AVMA accreditation inspection/inspectors here Wednesday through Friday 08/17/05
through 08/19/05. List of things to do for all (students and staff) in preparation 
for the inspection posted.

Meetings to be held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 12:00 PM at LTC.  Next meeting 
will be held on Wednesday, 09/07/05 at 12:00 PM

Goal:  to change the vet tech board in the main building of the school once a month.  
Pam will be changing the board in the vet tech building on a regular basis as well. 
Will most likely follow seasonal/holiday themes.

Adoption sign currently at the receptionist desk/front office in the main building.  
Available for all students to view to increase the chance and speed of adoption.  
Pictures and names of the animals posted on the sign.  Making an adoption board is 
also a possibility.

Fundraisers:

Ø      -for animal food (for boarding animals at school)

Ø      -supplies for the bulletin boards (paper, pens, pictures, lettering, etc)

Ø      -to better our vet tech program

-informational booths, car washes, biscuits/cookies for donation, nail trim day, etc.
